Butterball Coupons – HEB Clearance
I spotted these Butterball 1 lb turkey packs on clearance for 2 for $5 when they are normally priced at $2.98 per pack while shopping in my local store this week. I also remembered that I had $1.00 off one lb of Butterball Deli Meats or Lunch Meats (SS 1/4) coupons. That brings my total price to $1.50 per pack! I bought ten of them and left plenty for you to run over and grab a few!
If you are wondering if you can freeze them then the answer is YES! You absolutely can freeze these! Just be sure and place them in a freezer zipper bag and push out all of the air before freezing.
I prefer to use my FOOD SAVER vacuum sealer to make sure I don’t have any air seeping into the package. When I vacuum seal these they extend the freezer shelf life to 12 months. I simply drop the entire package into a vacuum seal bag and press the button and it’s done.
All that’s left to do is to place a label with the date on the bag. I always label the bags with the date now because when I spot these on clearance again in a few months I will purchase 6 or more again. I want to be sure and use up the first batch I have so I don’t waste money throwing out expired products. There’s nothing more tragic than putting food in the trash because you forgot to label it when putting it up. Take a lesson from me, label immediately and never procrastinate!

This deal would be even sweeter if you participated in the Colgate-Palmolive H-E-B Catalina deal and used your $4/$12 purchase from 1/28/15 – 2/10/15. You final cost would be $11 or $1.10 per pack!
So what are you waiting for? Grab your coupons and run to your HEB to see if you can score cheap lunch meat! I pack lunches for my kids three days a week so I get to enjoy massive savings on this deal! The smoked turkey was also on clearance so I grabbed five of the smoked turkey and five of the roasted turkey.
These also make great meals when you are in a hurry. The first being good old turkey sandwiches. You can always roll up a slice in a corn tortilla with a slice of cheese and you have a healthy and inexpensive after school snack. It sure beats the prices of those individually wrapped wraps in the deli section. Just do a price check comparison to see what I mean!
These also make great deli meat party platters for office or church potlucks. I never run out of uses for sliced deli meats and worst case, I can always throw these in a breakfast omelette, breakfast taco or fried rice recipe.
