Crash and Burn!
website under-construction

Crash and Burn!  That’s exactly what happened to me this morning when I woke up and did some routine updates to my website!  I hadn’t even had an entire cup of coffee yet!  It’s a good change though because it gives me the perfect opportunity to break some good and bad news to you all.  I do apologize for the inconvenience of my website getting all “screwy” this morning and it might not look the same each time you visit it until I settle into a new look and layout.  But eventually we will all get used to the new changes and get right back in the daily grind.

Bad News – No More Coupon Deal Posts

Bad news first – I am no longer going to be posting coupon deals.  I will toot my own horn and claim that I am “one-helluva-couponer” and I do some killer deals BUT I hate writing up deals.  Shocking to say the least…I know.  I don’t actually hate writing up deals, I hate the fact that writing up the deals takes me away from coaching, which is what I LOVE to do!  I might be able to do both, but that would require very little sleep and ignoring my family on a constant basis…not good for my family life so it has to go.

I will keep the HOT DEALS tab on the website so you can view previous deals and get an idea of how coupon deals work out.  If you want to follow an awesome deal blogger then follow my blogger BFF Jennifer King at Hunting Bargains at HEB AND Spend Less, Shop More.

Click on her name and it will take you to our Facebook Group – Saving Pennies Nickels Dimes and Dollars.  We have over 13K members from all over the US and Jenn posts deals constantly so you will always find a killer deal there. Be sure and read the pinned post at the top of the group page to find all of the threads to all of the deals.  It keeps the page from being cluttered when all of the stores are grouped together in this organized manner.

Good News – More Personal Finance & Money Management Coaching on The Frugal Lifestyle

Good news is that I will be posting about Personal Finance & Money Management and coaching my readers and followers into The Frugal Lifestyle.  I started The Korean Couponer with coaching as my focus but I got just a little sidetracked with deal posts for a whole minute.  It was good for me to write up posts as I learned a few things along the way.  It helped establish me as a bonafide couponer so I got some nice credibility there because prior to Jenn King putting me on the map in the coupon world, no one had any idea of who I was or what I did.  I also learned that writing up coupon deal posts is not my cup of tea because it’s very time consuming and as I said, I love coaching with all of my heart.

Thank you to all of the BADA$$ deal bloggers!!

Hats off to Jenn King ( Hunting Bargains at HEB & Spend Less, Shop More) , Kassie Buck (Saving a Buck with Mrs. Buck),  Melissa Jiminez (Melissa’s Coupon Bargains) and Kerry Songer Karp (Totally Target) for writing up the weekly deals for me and countless others to follow as well as Olga Strand co-admin of the Facebook group Couponers do it BIGGER and BETTER in TEXAS and countless other people and groups who are selfless in their sharing of killer deals to save us all some greenbacks!

What’s coming?

I will still be writing weekly posts about money management and some of it will tie in to couponing since “The Method” is all about couponing and getting started to financial freedom one coupon at a time.  I will talking more about “The Method” and how it works, why I created it and go in depth so everyone gets an understanding of what I am talking about!

The online classes/courses are in creation mode as we speak, but for the time being, my website crashed with an update and it’s mandatory that I work on the new look and layout of the site.  I guess you might say this is a good opportunity to re-birth and recreate The Korean Couponer and every woman starts over with a whole new look and makeover!

My first online class Basic Couponing 101 – The Frugal Lifestyle is available to purchase and download along with the free printable workbook.  Be sure and visit the Learn To Coupon page to get all of the FREE couponing resources and tools and the posts I have written to get you started.   I am still writing about couponing in its entirety but I am getting away from writing about deal posts in general.

Thank you!!

Thank you for all of your support and patience and thank you for taking this journey with me!  For those of you who might not continue to follow along down my new path, I wish you all the best in every endeavor of your life and I hope we can cross paths again soon!  I love you all and I would not be at this point today if it weren’t for all of my wonderful readers!!

Super sad about this. I learned so much from you and felt I had a base if I got stuck. It’s a credit to you that people feel they can approach you with questions AND get a reliable correct answer. You made things easy to understand. You helped change my life in budgeting and couponing. Though I plan to continue following anything you post…..any segment of loss, feels huge. This is a credit to you. You are truly one of my angels in life. (a very intelligent and generous one, I might add). Kudos also to you for having the strength to know when to call whoa on something you don’t particullarly like to do. You are a credit as a human as well 🙂
